\u201e\u201aOd detstva ma fascinovali oblasti, kde premena hmoty prebiehala ry\u0301chlej\u0161ie ako v re\u00e1lnom \u010dase. Jedny\u0301m z ty\u0301ch miest bola drev\u00e1re\u0148 pln\u00e1 v\u00f4n\u00ed su\u0161iaceho sa dreva, moja ob\u013e\u00faben\u00e1 miestnos\u0165 na tajn\u00e9 dumanie a najpodivnej\u0161ie experimenty. na tomto mieste sa konali zvl\u00e1\u0161tne om\u0161e, po\u010das ktory\u0301ch som pozoroval \u013eud\u00ed, ktor\u00ed r\u00fabali drevo a st\u00edchli pri plnen\u00ed svojich \u00faloh. V rytme tupy\u0301ch zvukov padaj\u00facej sekery sa dreven\u00e9 polen\u00e1 otv\u00e1rali ako osvetlen\u00e9 strany kn\u00edh, polen\u00e1 pripom\u00ednali kni\u017en\u00e9 police pln\u00e9 vo\u0148avy\u0301ch tiel.\u2018 Uveden\u00e1 pas\u00e1\u017e z mojich spomienok predstavuje jednu z najz\u00e1kladnej\u0161\u00edch a najrannej\u0161\u00edch interpret\u00e1ci\u00ed \u201adielne\u2018 ako miesta, ktor\u00e9 men\u00ed aj hmotu, aj myse\u013e. \u2026 V in\u0161tal\u00e1cii Drev\u00e1re\u0148 je drevo, tradi\u010dne vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00e9 na vy\u0301robu papiera, nahraden\u00e9 samotny\u0301m papierom. Knihy, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa spracovan\u00e9 ako nasekan\u00e9 polen\u00e1, s\u00fa ur\u010den\u00e9 na sp\u00e1lenie \u2013 podobne ako v dystopickej v\u00edzii zo sci-fi rom\u00e1nu Raya Bradburyho 451 stup\u0148ov<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018Since childhood, I have been fascinated by areas where the transformation of matter occurred faster than in real time. One of those places was a shed fi lled with the scents of drying wood, my favorite room for secret musings and the strangest experiments. It was in this place that strange masses took place, during which I observed people chopping wood, turning mute as they performed their tasks. In rhythm with the dull sounds of the falling axe, the wooden logs opened up like illuminated pages of books. The stacks of logs resembled library shelves fi lled with fragrant bodies.\u2019 The above passage from my memories represents the simplest and one of the earliest interpretations of the essence of a \u2018workshop\u2019, transforming both the mind and matter. \u2026 In the Woodshed installation, the wood traditionally used for paper production is replaced by paper. Books, like chopped logs, are destined for burning, as in the dystopian vision presented in Ray Bradbury\u2019s novel Fahrenheit 451, where books were ordered to be destroyed, and reading was forbidden.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
