\u201eP\u00e1\u010di sa mi po\u013esk\u00e9 slovo ulotne. Je to pr\u00eddavn\u00e9 meno, ktor\u00e9 by sa dalo vo\u013ene prelo\u017ei\u0165 ako pominute\u013en\u00e9 alebo letm\u00e9. Vec, ktor\u00e1 je ulotna, je v stave takmer odletie\u0165, efem\u00e9rne existuje na hranici nami vn\u00edmanej skuto\u010dnosti a snu. Existuje, ale vzbudzuje pocit, \u017ee sa o chv\u00ed\u013eu vytrat\u00ed z doh\u013eadu \u010di dosahu a odlet\u00ed. Papier z japonsk\u00e9ho kra kozo je v podstate ulotnym materi\u00e1lom. Ide trochu o oxymoron, preto\u017ee napriek tomu, \u017ee cely\u0301 \u010das vn\u00edmame jeho existenciu a hmotu, je to zvl\u00e1\u0161tne nehmotny\u0301 materi\u00e1l. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 si v\u0161ak mysl\u00edm, \u017ee jeho zdanliv\u00e1 krehkos\u0165 a neha obsahuj\u00fa ve\u013ek\u00fa vy\u0301razov\u00fa silu, preto\u017ee v jeho forme, nech je akoko\u013evek tich\u00e1, po\u010du\u0165 ozvenu slova takmer\u2026\u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI like the Polish word ulotne. It\u2019s an adjective that could be loosely translated as fl eeting or transient. Something that is ulotne is in a state of almost fl ying away, existing momentarily on the edge of what we perceive as reality and dream. It exists, but it evokes the feeling that it will soon disappear from sight or reach and take fl ight. Japanese paper, kozo, is essentially an ulotne material. It\u2019s a bit of an oxymoron, because even though we perceive its existence and materiality all the time, it\u2019s a strangely immaterial substance. Yet I also believe that itsapparent fragility and tender-ness carry great expressive power, because in its form \u2013 no matter how quiet \u2013 there\u2019s an audible echo of a word almost\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
