\u201eAutorsk\u00e1 kniha LIDICE II pracuje s detailom opakuj\u00faceho sa tvaru oblohy, ktory\u0301 je \u010das\u0165ou prvej knihy. Dev\u00e4\u0165 str\u00e1n grafi ckej knihy LIDICE I mapuje miesto historickej udalosti a symbolicky odkazuje k orchestr\u00e1lnej skladbe Bohuslava Martin\u016f (1890 \u2013 1959): Pam\u00e1tn\u00edk Lidic\u00edm (1943), ktor\u00e1 trv\u00e1 necely\u0301ch 9 min\u00fat a je my\u0161lienkami nerozlu\u010dite\u013ene sp\u00e4t\u00e1 s rodnou zemou. Kniha vizu\u00e1lne pribli\u017euje miesto a \u010das prostredn\u00edctvom nad\u010dasovej krajiny s horizontom, ktory\u0301 smeruje na \u2013 miesto, oblohu, hru\u0161ku \u2013 ako aj \u00fapln\u00e9 vymazanie z mapy sveta: pr\u00e1zdno, osobn\u00e9 a kolekt\u00edvne spomienky, pam\u00e4\u0165, brutalita a bezpr\u00e1vie. V s\u00fa\u010dasnosti z\u00edska tento akt vymazania \u010di vyhladenia novy\u0301 vy\u0301znam v kontexte historick\u00e9ho opakovania, najm\u00e4 v s\u00favislosti s bojmi na Ukrajine. Lidice, mal\u00e1 dedina s barokovy\u0301m kostolom le\u017eiaca 20 km severoz\u00e1padne od Prahy, bola j\u00fana 1942 vyhladen\u00e1 nemecky\u0301mi nacistami\u2026\u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe artist\u2019s book LIDICE II works with the detail of the repeating detail of sky, which is part of the fi rst book. The nine pages of the LIDICE I graphic book map the location of the historical event and symbolically refer to the orchestral composition of Bohuslav Martin\u016f (1890\u20131959): Memorial to Lidice, for orchestra (1943), which lasts less than 9 minutes and is inextricably linked with the native land. The book visually approximates place and time, in the form of a timeless landscape with a horizon focused on \u2013 place, sky, pear \u2013 as well as complete erasure from the map of the world, emptiness, personal and general memories, memory, brutality and injustice. Currently, the event of erasure or annihilation evokes a new meaning in the severity of historical repetition in connection with the struggle in Ukraine. Lidice, a small village with a baroque church 20 km northwest of Prague, was exterminated by the German Nazis on June 10, 1942\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
